Pedestrian strike reported in Dayton

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — Crews are at the scene of a pedestrian strike on W. Riverview Avenue in Dayton.

According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, 911 was called to report a person had been hit by a vehicle at 9:11 p.m.

In a 911 call obtained by 2 NEWS, the caller told dispatchers the woman was bleeding, had broken bones and was unconscious but breathing. Dispatchers confirmed that an ambulance and police were on their way to the scene during the call.

2 NEWS is currently investigating the condition of the driver and victim.
