Online sportsbooks are gearing up for this week’s highly anticipated debate between President Biden and former President Trump, offering wagers on everything from their sartorial choices to the likelihood of long pauses or profanity.
BetOnline.ag is providing over 40 betting options for Thursday’s presidential debate in Atlanta. Wagers include the number of “non-facts” each candidate will utter — with Trump’s over/under set at 15.5 and Biden’s at 9.5 — the first candidate to mispronounce a politician’s name, and who will interrupt moderators Jake Tapper or Dana Bash first.
Other bets include the over/under for Biden’s longest pause at 4.5 seconds, whether Trump will be warned or scolded by the moderators, if either candidate will walk off stage, and if either will curse onstage.
BetUS.com also features wagers on the candidates’ neckties — color and whether they are solid or striped — and whether Biden’s age or Trump’s legal issues will be mentioned. Additional bets include who will be the first to “audibly raise their voice” or “interrupt the other candidate.”
