Detroit — Lucas Raymond scored a goalless tie at 6:38 in the third period, beating Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1 to score Detroit Red Wings’ first NHL goal.

Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, 19-year-old Raymond was ranked fourth overall by the Red Wings in the 2020 draft.

He also assisted Tyler Bertuzzi’s fifth goal of the season in just over two minutes after defeating goalkeeper Jonas Colpisaro, who stopped the first 33 shots of Detroit online.

Boone Jenner scored one goal at 12:51, but Red Wings goalkeeper Thomas Grace and his defense maintained the lead.

Vladislav Namestnikov and Adam Erne have added an empty net goal to Detroit.
