I knew what I could expect from a Hallmark movie, but in the latest movie, Baker’s son, The story begins where Hallmark rarely — from a male perspective. This movie focuses on Matt (Brant Daugherty), At a local bakery on the picturesque Windward Island, Matt struggles to bake the best bread.
When he meets the ballerina (Maude Green) he visits, it all changes. What is needed produces kneading, and his love and passion for her inspires his skills. But what happens when his heart breaks and he suddenly loses the fabric mojo?Can he For real Love is really his best friend Annie (Eloise Mumford)?
To get the full scoop, our Jim Holterman grabbed for a while with Doherty, who elaborated on the movie and how love works with Matt’s character. “Matt hasn’t baked his best ability,” says Doherty. “Love is a missing element he has, but I think there is another layer on top of it-a belief in himself.”
