Clippers (29-37): Alex Cole, Oscar Gonzalez and Nolan Jones each hit home runs, and Triple A Columbus beat Iowa 7-4. Gonzales also had a double. Iowa fixed all four runs twice to Clippers starter Kevin Helget.
Rubber Dax (39-27): Cody Morris hit 7 in 5 innings and Double A Akron beat Richmond 3-0. Morris allowed two hits and walked once. Second baseman Richard Palacios scored two hits, including a double RBI and scored once. DH Jonathan Engelmann hit twice and scored once.
Captain (37-31): When visiting the Great Lakes, Lake County won four singles 5-0. Xzavion Curry suffered its first defeat in High-A. He hit 8 in the 6 1/3 innings, but gave up on 3 home runs. The captain was 0-4 and there was a runner in the scoring position.
Hillcats (34-33): In the first doubleheader match, third baseman John Kenzinoel hit a two-run home run and a solo home run, while Low A Lynchburg beat host Delmarva 7-4. Christian Cairo also had a two-run single. Starter Brownie Munos (1-1) allowed two home runs in 5 2/3 innings, but won. Lynchburg finished the sweep with a 4-2 victory in the second game. Left fielder Julian Escobed hit a two-run home run and scored two goals.
