Musk is planning a new private airport, according to sources, Tesla Lati reported citing Australia. Little is known about when and where it is, but these sources say the conceptual plan has been confirmed.

The airport is somewhere east of Austin near Bastrop, Texas. Private airports are useful for Musk and his company, especially for three to be in Austin. The report states that Tesla has relocated its global headquarters to Austin and the Boring Company. It’s unclear how much space the CEO will need at a private airport. However, Austin Executive Airport has more than 130,000 square feet of community hangar space. It also has a 6,025-foot runway.

Meanwhile, Tesla’s second-quarter sales were $ 16.9 billion, down from $ 18.8 billion in the first quarter of this year. Tesla’s second-quarter profit was $ 2.3 billion, below the record quarterly profit of $ 3.3 billion in the first quarter of this year.
