ODOT total solar eclipse traffic map

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Ohio Department of Transportation has created a map to help drivers and travelers navigate the roads on the day of a total solar eclipse.

Many areas of Ohio are located inside the path of the total solar eclipse.

ODOT estimated traffic volumes for four different scenarios based on the number of people visiting the state.

The scenarios are divided into 150,000 estimated visitors, 350,000 estimated visitors, 575,000 estimated visitors, and 575,000 estimated visitors plus 50,000 additional visitors to Hancock and Hardin counties.
