Firefighters in Florence celebrate baby birth, Chilean cook-off wins same day

In just an hour, a group of first responders found themselves having a Saturday they’ll never forget.

This is another kind of joyous celebration associated with Chilly. Yeah, we know our area loves it cold, but this kind of story might bring some laughs and icing. We will deliver this fun story that can only be seen in. And Meredith, you spoke to a group of first responders who have impressive expanded resumes, to say the least. We might like to talk about chilly and talk about cheese over this kind of cheesy smile. This is an impressive group of winners. And also the cheerful men. they are civil servants. And it all boiled down to his one act of the week. These were members of Fire Department 32 in Florence on an unexpected Saturday. They will never forget that the crew were volunteers participating in the Chili Cook-Off with the American Legion Post Four. Well the timing was perfect. Because the crew makes the usual pepper spray her chili every Saturday. Now they’ve decided to unload a pot of chili for the competition and hang out until duty is called. So they ran down the street to safely deliver a healthy baby boy. Born at home. Most of the crew, along with their families, went to the hospital by ambulance. Well, by the way, when Captain Chris Furman went to pick up the chili pot, he celebrated that his station won first prize and the crew took these fun photos to commemorate the day. Too much love for Brianna, baby. The end of the world. I have. The day you bring a baby into the world is never a bad day. Especially when everyone is healthy and doing well. And it would be helpful if you could throw interesting pictures. By the way, I got an interesting photo. yes. It’s not a real baby. I’ve been clearing it all morning. It’s a training baby. But it’s a real chili pot that they heated chili for me to try it myself. they all got into it. Only great people there. So we appreciate your time and are enjoying all the love you’re getting on social media. And as for the winner, their chili won them an initial prize of $100. This was quickly donated to the Chipteri Foundation, a local charity focused on the mental health of first responders. I love that donation. yes. Are your first responders going through a lot? Yes. Meredith, have you had a chance to try the famous chili? You said it was spicy before. My question is, what about your chili? what do you like? Five ways? Three directions? I don’t know a different way. yes. Well, for me, there is. Do you have chili topping? And then there is chili, which is like winter chili. This was like Chile in winter. It was like chili in summer too. Let’s go how hot it was. But I couldn’t stop eating. It was very nice. Now i did. Kelly, Chris and I just wanted to let you know that this morning, he said that if he could help Kelly, he would love to get you a fresh batch of Charlie Rice and yours. At this point, we can say that this is the end. thank you And if they deliver it, they’ll be here too. So everyone should have one. As you see the delivery was never personal. It’s really great and tip he was good to know about the Terry Foundation. So we can go ahead and spread the word out there and continue to support them and everything they do.
