Firefighters investigating after one person died in a house fire in Old Brooklyn

Cleveland (WJW) — Cleveland firefighter Called for a house fire in Old Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon.

A firefighter arriving at his home in 1600 blocks on Spring Road at around 3:30 pm searched for victims allegedly trapped inside and treated the toxic smoke.

Firefighters were reportedly able to rescue two victims from the building. One of the victims was reportedly dead and the other reportedly safe.

No other injuries have been reported yet, and the fire department is still investigating the cause of the flames they say have occurred in the attic of the house.
