First responders rescue dogs stuck on thin ice

A dog stuck on the thin ice of Lake Mascoma, New Hampshire, was rescued by a Lebanese firefighter. According to the Lebanese Fire Department’s Facebook page, they were sent to Mascoma Lake after 3 pm on Friday. When they got there, they realized that the scared dog didn’t want to go to their owner. Firefighters Jared Cook and Cary Eastman walked in the water, returned the dog to the shore and reunited with its owner. “I’m glad the bystanders didn’t try to go out on the very thin ice!” The department wrote on its Facebook page.
