CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – A 3-year-old girl is in serious condition after being shot in the leg, officials say.
Police told Fox 8 they were looking for an 18-year-old boy who allegedly shot a toddler and ran away.
The incident occurred shortly after 2:30 am on Friday on Craven Avenue near East 129th Street.
Police don’t know if the shooter lived in the house where the shooting happened, but he says he left his gun behind and fled the house without wearing shoes.
The girl was taken to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, according to Cleveland EMS.
