Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi launches too many phones in a particular year. Choosing the right phone from a portfolio of Indian brands can be a daunting task given the volume of launches from popular brands. Smartphones include not only the Xiaomi brand, but also its sub-brands such as Redmi and Black Shark. Xiaomi removed the “Mi” brand from its products earlier this year. Currently, the number of Xiaomi smartphones on the market may be overwhelming, but people are still buying Xiaomi and are waiting for the launch of the new Xiaomi to buy their next smartphone.

Xiaomi Mix 4
The long-awaited Xiaomi Mix 4, launched in China in August this year, is rumored to be launched in India in November. The smartphone is Xiaomi’s flagship device and has emerged as one of the first products to remove the “Mi” brand from the Chinese giant. The price of smartphones is expected to be around 55,000 rupees. This smartphone is equipped with 6.67 inch Full HD +. AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Internally, the Xiaomi Mix 4 has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The phone has a triple rear camera setup that accommodates 108 megapixels. A primary HMX sensor, a 13-megapixel sensor with a periscope-type telescope lens that supports 50x zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. On the front, the Xiaomi Mix 4 has a 20-megapixel camera.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold is the company’s first foldable smartphone launched in China in March this year. Smartphones will be available in India for the rest of the year, with prices said to exceed Rs 1,00,000 (expected). The Mi Mix Fold, like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, is designed to fold inward. Inside is an 8.01 inch WQHD + flexible OLED display with a peak brightness of 900 nits. On the outside, the phone offers a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.Internally, the Mi Mix Fold has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone also includes a butterfly-type cooling system with heat dissipation methods such as VC liquid cooling, thermal gel, and multi-layer graphite sheets.
Xiaomi Redmi K50
Xiaomi Is working on a new Redmi phone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC. Leak suggests that this model will be the successor to Xiaomi’s Redmi K40 / Mi 11X. Chinese smartphone makers have previously launched the Mi 11X as the Redmi K40, which has been re-badged in India. The Redmi phone is designed to get a 6.7 inch FHD + OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080.
