Hilliard, Ohio (WCMH) — A girl was taken to hospital in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle during Hilliard’s 4th of July parade on Tuesday morning.
Hilliard Police confirmed a 7-year-old girl climbed out of a trailer used as a float on Main Street and Franklin Street along the parade route around 10 a.m. While driving, she was hit by a trailer and was seriously injured.
She was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in critical condition, but a Hilliard Police spokeswoman said her injuries were “not life-threatening.”
This incident is still under investigation.
