NWS: Two tornadoes confirmed in Ohio Valley

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pittsburgh has confirmed tornado activity within southeastern Ohio.

On Tuesday, April 2, two tornadoes were confirmed to have touched down in Muskingum and Guernsey counties.

Muskingum County, Ohio: An EF0 tornado touched down in Highland Township with maximum winds of 85 mph. The tornado's path was two miles long.

Guernsey County, Ohio: And an EF1 tornado touched down along Cowden Road in Guernsey County with maximum winds of 160 mph. The tornado's path length was 2.1 miles.
