I-69 Southbound Semi Accident Congests DeKalb County Traffic – WOWO 92.3 FM | 1190am

DeKalb County, Indiana (WOWO): A quasi-accident on Interstate 69 southbound in DeKalb County caused some traffic jams Thursday morning. Shortly after 5:30 a.m., police were called to the scene near the Auburn Rest Area, 324 miles southbound on Interstate 69, where the cicada shouldered an abandoned trailer. Semi driver Marc Eicher, 47, suffered a scrape on his hand, but was reportedly not seriously injured. Traffic was slowed down and restricted to one lane while the crew cleared the wreckage. Investigation is ongoing.
