LIMA — A Lima man was detained on various criminal charges after a joint investigation by the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force and the FBI’s Northwest Ohio Safe Street Task Force.
According to a press release issued by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, MTF investigators acted as a source of information, confirming the whereabouts of 23-year-old Daquan Burse and executing arrests.
Burse tried to escape, but was eventually detained, the report said.
He also assisted with an agent at the Allen County Sheriff’s Office and an officer at the Lima Police Department. The agent transferred Bath to Allen County Prison and was booked with a warrant containing possession of fentanyl-related compounds and improper handling of firearms in the car.
