Iowa State and LSU women's teams compete for a spot in the Final Four

Two of the biggest names in women's basketball met Monday night in Albany, New York, with a spot in the Final Four on the line.

This year's matchup between Iowa State's Caitlin Clark and LSU's Angel Reese will take place earlier than last year, when they competed for the national championship.

LSU won the tournament, and Clark had been aiming for the title ever since his record-setting senior year.

As the Elite Eight game kicked off at MVP Arena, the University of Iowa took an early lead, but Reese and LSU responded and took the lead entering the second quarter.
