On World Down Syndrome Day, people with Down Syndrome and their families can celebrate their uniqueness and raise public awareness.
On March 21, it will be celebrated to commemorate the three copies of chromosome 21 that occur in the DNA composition of people with Down syndrome.

Their main focus is to celebrate what makes us all unique. DSAV has created the most unique and quirky design of “Rock Your Socks” on World Down Syndrome Day and encourages everyone to send photos to DSAV.

The Down Syndrome Society of Valley also offers classroom recognition kits for schools.
Each kit is for preschool to 5th grade and includes books, recognition bracelets, and bookmarks for children’s recognition of Down Syndrome.
