Victim in ‘life-threatening’ condition after Hitskip crash in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person was taken to hospital Saturday with “life-threatening” injuries following a hitskip crash.

At approximately 9:10 p.m., Columbus police responded to a call of a hit-and-run near the intersection of East Hudson Street and Delbert Road on the northeast side of the city, according to the Columbus Police Department.

One of the victims was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in a “life-threatening” condition, police said.

Police said the suspect may have been under the influence of drugs and alcohol and initially fled the scene, but is now in custody.
