Woman shot in chest on Cleveland’s east side Saturday

CLEVELAND — A 22-year-old woman was hospitalized after being shot in the chest Saturday afternoon according to the Cleveland Division of Police.

The incident happened at approximately 2 p.m. near East 154th Street and Lotus Drive.

The victim was transported to an area hospital by Cleveland EMS.

No additional information was released by police as the shooting is in the early stages of investigation. 3News will continue to provide updates on the status of the victim and/or if any arrests are made.
