Murdered driver’s wife and mother sues Lyft, minors involved

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — Family of Lyft driver Brandon Cooper Died January 2022announced a wrongful death lawsuit against a ride-sharing company, teens involved Wednesday morning.

Cooper’s mother spoke up After the January incident, he said, “We want them to know what they stole from us. We are devastated. We are heartbroken. And for what? Because you wanted his car? Something he worked hard for.”

According to their attorney, Cooper had no idea the teenager was under the age of 18.
