Columbus, Ohio — The Ohio Health Department will hold a virtual press conference on Thursday to discuss where the incidents are in the state.

According to state dataThere were a total of 76,289 hospitalizations, with an average of 252 for 21 days as of October 13.
As of Wednesday, there are a total of 3,340 people in COVID-19 hospitals, and there are people in virus hospitals in all 88 counties in Ohio.
Vanderhoff will be joined by Dr. Kirktucker, Chief Clinical Officer of Adena Health Systems, and Dr. Adam Mezov, Chief Medical Officer of Dayton Children’s Hospital.

ODH reported 5,648 new cases of COVID-19 and 385 new hospitalizations on Wednesday.
As of October 13, the total number of cases in Ohio was 1,480,371, with more than 6.3 million Ohio residents initiating the vaccination process, accounting for 54.6% of the population.
