Andre Cisco signed a rookie contract Thursday afternoon with Jaguar’s choice of safety in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He became the fourth in Jaguar’s 2021 draft selection to sign the team.
Cisco, who played at Syracuse University, was ranked 65th overall.
Cisco (6ft-0, £ 209) has played 21 to 24 games in Syracuse. He recorded 136 tackles (94 solos), defended 29 passes and made 13 pass cuts. He was forced to make two mistakes in his college career.
Having suffered a knee injury at the end of the season after starting the first two games of the 2020 season, Cisco foresaw the final season of entering the 2021 NFL draft. He was rated as the number one safety spot in the country as Lindy headed for the junior season.
Jaguar currently has four unsigned ’21 draft selections: Quarterback Trevor Lawrence (Round 1, 1st overall, Clemson), Running Back Travis Etienne Jr. (Round 1, No. 25, Clemson) , Cornerback Tyson Campbell (33rd overall in Round 2, Georgia) and aggressive tackle Walker Little (Round 2, 45th overall, Stanford).
Jaguar also has wide receiver Jalen Camp (Round 6, No. 209, Georgia Tech), Defensive End Jordan Smith (Round 4, No. 121, Alabama-Birmingham), and Tight End Luke Farrell (Round 5, No.). .145, Alabama) and Defensive Butuckle Jaguar Land Rover (Round 4, No. 106, Southern California).
