All Ohio University students, faculty and staff are invited to a “University Updates” event hosted by President Lori Stewart Gonzalez on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
Members of the OHIO community are invited to watch “University Updates” in-person at the Baker University Center Theater or over a livestream.
The session will take place from 4-5 p.m. and will be the first in a series of “University Updates” events that will be held during the academic year as part of OHIO’s ongoing efforts to further connections and dialogue throughout the University community.
At each session, President Gonzalez and University leadership will provide insight into OHIO’s strategic priorities and progress, discuss the important topics impacting Ohio University and higher education, and help to foster transparency and understanding across this special place.
The speakers for the Nov. 7 “University Updates” will be:
- President Gonzalez
- Executive Vice President and Provost Elizabeth Sayrs
- Interim Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion Russell Morrow
- Vice President for Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer Mark J. Heil
All members of the University community will also be invited to ask questions related to the presentations from the speakers after each event. All questions will be submitted through the University Updates website so that everyone watching in-person and online has equal opportunity to participate, and then all answers will be posted on the website.
Dates for future “University Updates” events, as well as the speakers for those sessions, will be announced as those details are finalized.
For more information or to view the livestreams of the events, please see the University Updates website.
