One injured and suspect detained after being fired near OSU

Columbus, Ohio — One person was injured in a shooting at a bar near the Ohio State University campus early Saturday morning.
Columbus police confirmed that police had gone to Bullwinkles on 1770 North High Street after being reportedly fired around 2 am.
According to police, one person was shot in the foot. The victim was taken to the hospital and described as stable.
Ohio State University emergency management officials posted on social media that police were detaining the suspect. The person’s name and possible charges associated with the shooting have not been disclosed.
