OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9RT5G a few months after announcing the OnePlus 9 series, including the OnePlus 9R5G with the Snapdragon 870. The latest phone debuted in China, and its Indian-specific details are currently unknown. The company launched a phone with an additional “T” Monica with flagship features, primarily in the previous quarter, at the end of the year. Similarly, the latest OnePlus 9RT 5G comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC, which also works with regular OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Last October, OnePlus released the OnePlus 8T with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. In addition to the new smartphone, OnePlus also launched the OnePlus Buds Z2 TWS earphones, which took over the affordable OnePlus Buds Z1 from last year.
In terms of design, the latest OnePlus 9RT5G OnePlus 9R 5G With hole punch display. Both phones come with a rectangular rear camera module. However, new generation devices have triple rear cameras instead of four sensors. It comes with a 6.62 inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a resolution of 2400×1080 and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. Screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection at the top. Internally, the OnePlus 9RT 5G features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with an Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Customers can choose from three storage configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB, 8GB RAM + 256GB, and 12GB RAM + 256GB, the new standard for OnePlus smartphones.
When it comes to optics, the triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS support and a 0082 / 1.8 aperture. There is also a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field of view and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The main rear camera can shoot 4K video at up to 60fps. On the front is a 16-megapixel sensor that supports selfies and video calls with EIS. The OnePlus 9RT camera app is bundled with modes such as Super Night Scene, Macro Photo, Intelligent Scene Recognition, Portrait Mode, Professional Mode, and Panorama Mode.
Other notable features of the OnePlus 9RT 5G include face recognition unlock, front screen fill light, and backlight mode. Connection options include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi with MIMO technology, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and an on-screen fingerprint sensor. The OnePlus 9RT 5G has a 4,500mAh battery that supports Flash Charge 65T (65W charger included). Prices in China start at RMB 3,299 (about 38,600 rupees) for the base model. Pricing details for other storage options remain unknown. Customers can choose from black, silver and blue colors.
