Jack Dorsey has resigned from Twitter’s CEO position and will be replaced by Parag Agarwal, who is now Twitter’s CEO and Director. With the appointment of Agarwal, he has become one of the many leading Indian engineers in big tech companies. Take a look at some of Silicon Valley’s most prominent Indian leaders as Agarwal has become the latest Indian to lead tech companies.
1.1. Sundar Pichai ――Everyone knows Google CEO Sundar Pichai.. Pichai has been the CEO of Google since 2015. He joined Google in 2004 and led product management and innovation efforts for Google’s client software product suites such as Google Chrome and Chrome OS. Pichai holds a degree in metallurgical engineering from IIT Kharagpur, a master’s degree in materials science and engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
2.2. Satya Nadella –Satya Nadella has been CEO of Microsoft since 2014. He was the third CEO of. Microsoft rear Bill Gates I have been in the company with Steve Ballmer since 1992. Nadella Born in Hyderabad, Telangana, he received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After that, Nadella received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Business School.
3.3. Shantanu Naraien -CEO Adobe, Naraien has been the CEO of Adobe since 2007. Prior to that, Naraien was the COO of Adobe since 2005. Naraien joined Adobe in 1998 as Senior Vice President of Global Product Development. Narayen holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University, Ohio. He then earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
4.4. Albind Krishna -Arvind Krishna is the CEO of IBM From April 2020 to January 2021, he served as chairman. Krishna joined IBM in 1990 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2015, managing the IBM Cloud and Cognitive Software and IBM Research. Krishna holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from IIT Kanpur and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois.
5.5. Jashley Ural -Ullal, CEO of Arista Networks, has been CEO since 2008. This executive previously worked with AMD, Cisco, and Fairchild Semiconductor. Ullal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from San Francisco State University and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University.
6.6. Anjali Sud –Sud, CEO of Vimeo, has been with the company since 2014 and is responsible for global marketing. Sud graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2011.
7. Revathi Advaithi -CEO of Flex, a contract manufacturer of multinational electronics in the United States. Advaithi was appointed CEO of Flex in 2019. She has a bachelor’s degree from BITS Pilani and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
8.8. Nikesh Arora –Nikesh Arora is the CEO of Palo Alto Networks. Arora was appointed CEO of Palo Alto Networks in 2018 and previously worked for companies such as Google and Softbank. Arora holds a bachelor’s degree from the Polytechnic Institute of Banaras Hindu University, an MBA from Northeastern University, and a master’s degree from Boston University.
9.9. Sanjay Melo Tiger –Mehrotra is the CEO of Micron Technology. He has been in that position since 2017. Mehrotra was a co-founder of SanDisk and was President and CEO of SanDisk until it was acquired by Western Digital (WD).
10.10. George Kurian –Kurian became CEO and President of data storage company NetApp in 2015. He studied engineering at IIT Madras, but dropped out of Princeton University to pursue the same course. He holds an MBA from Stanford University.
11.11. Annealed booth –Aneel Bhusri is the CEO of Workday. He co-founded Workday in 2005 and has been the CEO of the company ever since. Bhusri holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate Business School.
12.12. Aman Butani –GoDaddy CEO Aman Bhutani has been CEO since 2019. Prior to that, he was CTO and Senior Vice President of Worldwide Engineering at Expedia. Bhutani holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi and an MBA from Lancaster University.
13.13. Steve Sangi –Steve Sanghi is the CEO of Microchip Technology Inc. Sanghi is the company’s founder and first president. He was appointed President of Microchip in August 1990 and has been CEO since 1991. Sangi holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
