Pedestrians attacked and killed at I-71 / 75 south of Covington

A pedestrian was beaten and killed on Wednesday evening at I-71 / 75 south of Cut-in-the-Hill in Kenton County. According to Covington police, police responded to I-75 in the south at around 8:22 pm on reports of people walking on the Interstate. According to police, a pedestrian died on the scene when a man was reportedly beaten by one or more vehicles traveling south on the I-75 while police were heading to the scene. -Police investigated, lamp MLK for about 2.5 hours 71/75. According to Covington police, police responded to I-75 in the south at around 8:22 pm on reports of people walking on the Interstate. While police officers were heading to the scene, they were informed that the man appeared to have been attacked by one or more vehicles traveling south on an I-75.

Pedestrians died on the scene, police said.

Police investigated and all southbound lanes were closed on I-71 / 75 at the MLK of the ramp for approximately 2.5 hours. Since then, it has resumed.

It is unknown how many vehicles were involved in the collision and whether anyone else was injured.
