PERRY TOWNSHIP — The Athletics has confirmed that Clay Tucker, the basketball coach of the 1st grade Perry Men’s High School National Team, has resigned.

“Perry wants Clay to do his best in all his future efforts,” the news release said. “This is the only announcement from the district. Our focus is on player support.

“Assistant Mark Holsten will lead the program for the rest of the season.”

The Commodores were 10-2, 2-0 overall at the Northwest Central Conference, which was postponed for COVID-19 and participated in the home game of the national team with JV and Upper Sai Auto Valley on Friday night. No new dates for the game have been announced. Perry’s next upcoming match will take place on Tuesday in Minster.
