Police searching for two suspects who stole a vehicle and hit a pedestrian in northeastern Columbus

The incident occurred outside a convenience store located at 2200 blocks on Parkwood Avenue.

Columbus, Ohio — The Columbus department of police released a surveillance video on Wednesday in hopes of finding two people accused of stealing a car and hitting a person.

The incident took place on October 4 outside a convenience store on 2200 blocks on Parkwood Avenue in northeastern Columbus.

According to police, the two approached the black 2009 Chevrolet Malibu parked at a convenience store on Block 2200 on Parkwood Avenue.

In the video, the two approached the black 2009 Chevy Malibu to see if it was unlocked. When the car owner left the store after discovering that it was unlocked, one of them got into the car and started driving.

The video then showed that the driver attacked a person walking to the store speeding up to leave the scene.
