Elgin McArdle runs for West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals

Elgin McArdle is running for the West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals.

Mr. McArdle has over 30 years of legal experience, 25 of which have been dedicated to family law, and the fact that a third of the Court of Appeal’s cases are family law cases makes him well qualified for the position. In 2020, this position was created by the West Virgina Legislature to hear appeals not brought directly to the Supreme Court. Appeals in workers’ compensation, administrative, and civil cases are all handled by intermediate appellate courts.

Adding to her repertoire, Ms. McArdle co-chaired former President Donald Trump’s vote preservation efforts with the ACLJ, which they ultimately won in court. She has also worked on appeals filed with the U.S. Supreme Court.
