Rubber Dax (22-16): Double A Akron needed additional innings to defeat host Bowie 5-1. The match was a 1 draw, 12 times. Josh Loretto hit a three-run home run, giving Akron the first lead in the game. Francisco Perez threw a relief of 4 1/3 innings, allowed 1 hit, hit 6 and lowered ERA to 0.67 before winning.
Captain (22-18): High-A Lake County visited western Michigan 9-4 and won four games in a row. George Valera hit a home run in the fourth inning, and all captains recorded hits. Kevin Coulter scored his third win of the season, allowing only two hits with seven strikeouts in four innings.
Hillcats (21-17): Low-A Lynchburg visited Fredericksburg 4-3 with a victory and left. The landry Pena and Michael Pries duo recorded a solo home run. Jordan Jones recorded his first win of the season after hitting five batters in five innings.
