Port Clinton — Columbus Grove won the men’s team title in the Division III Regional on Friday night.

The bulldog finished with 83 points. Bluffton (68.5) was second.

Columbus Grove’s AJ Schaefer (shot put), Bluffton’s Eden Antrim (1,600), Landon Armstrong (800) and Ottoville’s Keren Schlagbaum (300 hurdles) each won the event.

Ethan Bogart, Landon Armstrong, Justin Good and Antrim have teamed up to win 1,600 relays.

On Wednesday, Globe’s Tadkoch won the discus.

In the women’s tournament, Leipsick (23 points) finished in 9th place in the top area. Colonel Crawford (84) was the team champion.

Geneva-Ohio Northern Keegandigby took seventh place in the National Spire Institute’s NCAA Division III Championship in a shot put on Friday, gaining national status.

“This feels great,” Digby said after receiving the National Trophy. “I’ve done a lot of work for this, and I’m really happy to see the results from it in the end.”

Diggby was the first American to throw shot put in men’s athletics. He posted a 16.38 throw and defeated the record mark of his previous school at 16.34 meters.
