Summer Event Guide in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland (WJW) – This isn’t the full social calendar we’re used to, but many events in northeastern Ohio are back this summer.

Rib’N Rock Food Truck Festival

Saturday, June 12th at Normandy High School in Parma. Order from a vendor and enjoy your car.

Summer solstice festival

From June 18th to June 20th at Sara’s Vineyard in Kaiyahoga Falls. Samples from other Ohio wineries. Live music and food vendor.

Downtown Cruise Inn in Willoughby

Saturday, June 19th, in historic downtown. Classic cars, great cars, bands and food vendors.

Put in Bay Pirates Fest

From June 25th to June 27th at Put in Bay. Ladder liquor on Saturday and Kids Fest on Sunday.

Corkscrew wine festival

Saturday, June 26, Great Lakes Science Center. Samples from over 100 wines and champagnes.

Canton Blues Fest

July 9th and 10th at the Centennial Plaza in downtown Canton. 14 blues acts will be on stage.

Kane Park Arts Festival

From July 9th to July 11th at Cain Park in Cleveland Heights. Dozens of award-winning artists exhibiting jewelry, glass, leather and paintings.

Christmas in July

Saturday, July 3rd in downtown Willoughby. Eight bars with the theme of Christmas ale crawl.

Cleveland Pops Orchestra and Fireworks

Saturday, July 3rd, at the Peritian Fi Theater in Twinsburg. Music and fireworks evening for the whole family. Tickets are on sale now.

Illuminate the lake

July 4th after sunset in downtown Cleveland. Fireworks were launched from Dock 20 in Cleveland Harbor across Lake Erie.

Wonder Struck Music Festival

July 24th and July 25th at Lakeland Community College. Headliners are Walk the Moon, Third Eye Blind, Portugal The Man and AJR.

Summit County Fair

July 27th-August 1st at the Tall Mudge Summit County Fairgrounds. 18 Midway Rides, Children’s Day Circus, Concerts, Vendors.

Grand Slam Beer Fest

July 31 Progressive Field. Samples of over 150 beer, selzer, wine and craft cocktails at home in the Cleveland Indians.

Medina County Fair

From August 2nd to August 8th at Medina County Fairgrounds in Medina. Demolition derby, tractor pulling, bull riding, fireworks.

Lakewood Arts Festival

Saturday, August 7th. Dozens of local artists, cooking and live entertainment.

Kaiya Hoga County Fair

From August 10th to August 15th at Kaiyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea. A complete fair is back with rides, food and crafts.

Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin

August 12-15, August 12 in Cleveland’s Little Italy district. No details have been announced as to whether the feast will return to its full form.

Flat art festival

August 21st and August 22nd at Flats East Bank. Local and national artists sell their work along the Cleveland waterfront.

Lorain County Fair

From August 22nd to August 29th at Lorain County Fairgrounds in Wellington. Ohio’s second largest county fair.

Bash on the bay

August 25th and August 26th Put in Bay Airport. Blake Shelton and Keith Urban will headline the two-day event.

Blake Shelton will be performing at the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards. The 56th ACM Awards, hosted by Keith Urban and Mickey Guyton, will air on CBS TV Network on Sunday, April 18 (8 pm EST to 11 pm EST / delayed PT), live and on-demand at Paramount. Avon Lake Beer Fest

August 28, Mirror Road Park. Avon Lake Athletic Booster offers over 60 craft beers and wines at Avon Lake Beer Fest 2021.

Cleveland Pickles Fest

August 28, at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. Vendors, music, games, 5K runs.

Stark County Fair

From August 31st to September 6th at Stark County Fairgrounds in Canton. Performance by Justin Moore and Mitchell Tempenny. Crush the dismantled derby on Thursday.

Great Theaga County Fair

From September 2nd to September 6th at Burton’s Geauga County Fairgrounds. It is not called the Great Theaga County Fair.

Cleveland Oktoberfest

From September 3rd to 6th and September 10th to 11th at Kaiyahoga County Fairgrounds. Music, beer, Wiener dog racing, and of course Glockenspiel.

Put in Bay Music Festival

Saturday, September 19th at Boathouse Bar and Grill. An outdoor music festival for families.
