ADA, Ohio (WJW) – No Teams Ohio I will participate again this year super ball, but as with the past 56 Super Bowls, Buckeye State will play a big role in Super Bowl 57. You can’t play the big game without the ball. That’s where Ohio comes in.

228 footballs will be used in Super Bowl 57.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs each get 108 pitches.

54 of them will be used for practice. 54 are brought into the game.

The 12 kicking footballs used are all manufactured in the small town of Ada in Northwest Ohio.

Andy Wendling, Factory Manager, Wilson Football Factory, said:

The Wilson Football Factory is where the NFL footballs used in the big games are manufactured.

“Everything is done by people here, nothing is automated. We are 100% human dependent,” he said.

Football starts with cutouts. You’ll take 20 different steps inside the 38,000-square-foot building and touch many hands along the way before you’re finally ready to play.

“When you go around the fans and see them on TV, there is a lot of pride in that. You know hard work and passionate craftsmanship. These people are very passionate about game balls. ”

“Walking one football from station to station would take about 15 minutes to complete, but it would take about 30 days from start to finish to build so many footballs together.”

The Wilson factory produces 2,000 footballs a day and 10,000 a week.

An NFL Super Bowl football costs about $150.
