The Seahawks added receiver depth on Saturday, signing Ra’Shaun Henry.

The Seahawks added to their receiver depth Saturday, signing Ra’Shaun Henry, who went undrafted out of Virginia in 2022.

Nose tackle Robert Cooper was waived to make room on the 90-man roster.

The move comes two days after the Seahawks had two receivers leave Thursday’s preseason opener with injuries. Dee Eskridge injured his knee on the game’s opening kickoff and did not return, while Cade Johnson left with a concussion that led to him being taken to Harborview Medical Center as a precaution, though he has since been released.

Henry, who is 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, first signed with Carolina after going undrafted last year, and has since spent time on Carolina and Atlanta’s practice squads. He signed with Cleveland in June, then was waived last week.

At Virginia, Henry caught 34 passes for 603 yards and three scores as a senior, averaging 17.7 yards per reception.
