The flame of light that illuminates Bluffton

Bluffton — The Bluffton Blaze of Light Festival & Parade takes place Saturday from 5 pm to 9 pm in downtown Bluffton.

Annual events, a tradition of over 30 years, are free. Thousands of visitors explore the town’s shopping district, and celebrations include parades, lighting, live entertainment, and other festive activities.

The parade will start at 5 pm. The theme is “Christmas Carol” drawn from the story of the legendary Charles Dickens. The entry form and other details can be found at www.explorebluffton.com/blaze-festival.

The parade unit lineup will take place on Saturday at 4pm on Snyder Road and Main Street. The float will stop at College Avenue. The trophy is awarded to the best floats.

The decorative highlight is the Bluffton Presbyterian Church’s ream-style (cutout figure) display on 112 N. Main St.

Christmas on the Delphos Canal Museum: Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Delphos Canal Commission Museum at 241 Main Street in Delphos.

This year’s theme is “Christmas Legend”. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.

Mulligans Paul Smock Country: Friday 10 pm and Saturday 1 am, 702 W. North St in Lima. so.

Events include food, drinks and live music.

Charity bingo: 6:45 pm Lima American Legion Hall, 711 S. Shore Drive, Lima.

The American Legion Post 96 hosts charity bingo games every Friday and Sunday throughout November.

Female-owned business pop-up shop: Saturday from 11am to 4pm at 2510 Shawnee Road in Lima.

Admission is $ 2 at the door. All entry proceeds will be donated to the Guiding Light Ministry.

Christmas with Daniel O’Donnell, etc.: Saturday from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Veterans Memorial Civic Center at Town Square 7 in Lima.
