iQoo announced the launch of the iQoo Z5 5G in India on September 27th. The company announced earlier that the smartphone will debut in China on September 23. The promotional poster also teases the phone’s triple rear camera in a rectangular module with a black finish. The specifications revealed by the company on China’s microblogging platform Weibo include a 64-megapixel primary rear camera, a 120Hz refresh rate display, a Snapdragon 778G SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
iQoo India is also Dedicated microsite For Amazon’s iQoo Z5 5G, it has been revealed that it will be released at 12:00 pm (noon). Sales in India may start on the same day. Like the previous iQoo Z3 5G, the new device is “specially designed for Gen Z customers.” The price of the new smartphone will continue to be less than Rs 30,000 and is expected to compete with the Xiaomi and Samsung brands. iQoo is a Weibo phone that previously teased at least three color options (black, white and purple / blue gradients).
The new smartphone will arrive in India about three months after the iQoo Z35G goes on sale in India. Prices start at Rs 19,990 for the base 6GB RAM variant and go up to Rs 20,990 for the 8GB RAM model. Both options have 128GB of internal storage. Unlike the iQoo Z5 5G with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, the previous model has a toned down Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC but maintains the same triple rear camera system. The iQoo Z3 5G has a 16-megapixel selfie snapper and a 4,400mAh battery and supports 55W fast charging. Details of the smartphone will be near the release date.
