The last man charged with shooting Youngstown’s mother pleads guilty to prosecution

The boyfriend and another man were charged with violent assault in a previous shooting.

Smith has been sentenced to imprisonment after pleading guilty. Another man was killed in an unrelated murder in December 2019.

Redrick initially faced five accusations, including an exacerbation of the murder, but those accusations were withdrawn and the accusation of exacerbation of the murder was amended to manslaughter in exchange for his petition.
