Thousands of blackouts reported in Miami Valley

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — About 4,000 power outages were reported in the Miami Valley on Tuesday night, according to AES Ohio.

The power outage map shows that the majority of power outages occur in Butler Township and Huber Heights.

Mary Ann Kabel, director of corporate communications for AES Ohio, said 2 NEWS had transmission line issues.

Kabel said restoration times will be provided as soon as they become available.
