Toledo man arrested in Michigan for firing fun in a road rage act

Monroe, Michigan — A 35-year-old Toledo man was arrested in Monroe County on Thursday morning after police said he had shot another man in a road rage.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, a 21-year-old Toledo man was driving a blue Dodge north in US 23 just before 10 am when he was involved in a road anger with a suspect. He then shot a 21-year-old with a pistol, officials said.

Police say both men left the freeway into Summerfield Road and stopped at an exit ramp. The sheriff’s adjutant observed a conflict between the two men.

After discussing with both parties, the 35-year-old was arrested.

The sheriff’s office does not disclose the names of either man.
