Valley Good Friday Events

youngstown, ohio (WKBN) – March 29th is Good Friday, an important day for Christians around the world.

Commemorates the cross and death of Jesus Christ. And several local events will be held to commemorate this day.

A Good Friday Cross Walk will be held at 9 a.m. at Freedom Chapel in Sharpsville. A cross symbolizing the journey of Christ is carried through the streets.

This will be followed by a Good Friday Mass at St. Columba's Cathedral in Youngstown at 3 p.m.

During this service, the annual gathering to the Holy Land takes place. It helps preserve the Holy Land of Christ's homeland and alleviate the suffering of the poor of all faiths in the Holy Land.
