MEREDITH STUTZ shows us the rollout locally. Colin: Thousands of mourners line up to say goodbye to the Queen. What we know about her last visit to London from Scotland. RANDI: It was a cool day in September, but it suddenly warmed up halfway through. My predictions for today’s shower threat and long sunshine. Announcer: This is her WLWT NEWS 5 today, leading the way. Kelly: This Tuesday, she’s at 5:00 this morning. A very busy weekend was followed by a busy week in Cincinnati and another busy weekend that set us up for all the events around the city. I’m Kelly Rippin. Colin: I’m Colin Mayfield. Not much rain and beautiful days like today. Meteorologist Randy Rico has the forecast for us. Like I said, today is going to be great. RANDI: If you like autumn, this is your day. We want to get out of his late 70’s this afternoon. It’s cool and comfortable, but warmer days are definitely approaching as the weekend rolls in. Above average, almost 90 degrees. Right now, we’re starting with 60 degrees at Hamilton and Sharonville at 61 degrees, Loveland at 59 degrees, Kenwood at 61 degrees, and Fort Mitchell at 60 degrees. As we pass the 50’s on the morning drive and enter the 60’s on the lunch break, the southern sky opens and the temperature today reaches about 72 degrees, the same as yesterday. I would like to display the radar. We’re seeing some showers, but they’re concentrated north of Interstate 70, and although it’s quiet now, there may be light showers to the north. Once that threat has passed, let it dry for days. And let’s talk about how fast the temperature will rise. Colin: Thank you. see you soon. Kelly: We’re heading into the fall. I think we both got flu shots. COLIN: We’re ahead of schedule. Kelly: Why don’t you try it? Colin: Boosters are ready for local groups in the population and ready to help you get protected. Meredith Stutz LIVE AT THE CROSSROADS CENTER. Meredith: Good morning, Colin. Here at Crossroads Center you have the opportunity to get a booster shot for you and your family, and it’s our Chief Medical Officer who’s talking about how it works. How does this day work and who can come today? We were able to provide the CDC vaccine that was developed. The original his COVID, but a new strain. We have Moderna that is not approved for children. I could be wrong but that’s what we have and it’s open to our patients and staff. Meredith: Time or transportation to go elsewhere to get a COVID vaccination It’s good for those who don’t have the means, but it’s a good place for a lot of people to come near the UC Medical Campus, right? Doctor: Yes, the items are dense areas, Clifton and Avondale. But this vaccine should be given to anyone who has at least had a Pfizer or Moderna booster or her second vaccine two months ago. Meredith: If I have a summer month and I get COVID-19 during the summer, how long do I have to wait to get a booster shot? Doctor: Still two months. This is an easy number to remember. Meredith: You must have a shot, can you get her first COVID shot?Doctor: We’ll get the first or second vaccine here at the same time. Meredith: A new variant will be available at the Crossroads Center from 8:00 to 12:00 noon. Meredith Stutts, News 5. KELLY: LIVE LOOK AT HER EDEN BLOW AS THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE SHOWS THE QUEEN. A steady stream made its way through the night, officials said, with lines outside stretching more than two miles and people queuing for seconds, up to 12 hours, to say goodbye.Today King Charles III traveled to Ireland on her first visit after being appointed monarch, returning to London for the Queen to take her final journey home, and Princess Anne accompanied the coffin on this journey, and once in London It is planned to drive to Buckingham Palace, where members of the royal family will thereby receive, and King Charles III will be included in the process.
