Two people taken to local hospital in Darke County crash

Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — Two people were taken to hospital after the crash in Darke County.

A Darke County Sheriff’s Office deputy was summoned at approximately 10:39 am Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Route 127 and Children’s Home Bradford Road in Greenville. When police arrived at the intersection, they discovered a collision involving two cars, the release said.

A preliminary investigation by the Sheriff’s Office found that the driver of a black 2018 Nissan Rogue was heading east on Children’s Home Bradford Road and stopped at a stop sign on U.S. Route 127. The Nissan driver allegedly didn’t make a right turn – rammed into the driver’s path heading north in his 2014 Honda CRV.

Both drivers were taken to Wayne Health Care with minor injuries, according to law enforcement.

The Nissan driver turned himself in for not giving up the right of priority.
