Lorain, Ohio (WJW) — Two people arrested Lorraine Monday night related to the deadly shooting of a 32-year-old man.
According to Lorraine police, police officers responded Monday at around 7:10 am to 700 blocks on W. 21st Street seeking reports of the shooting.
When police arrived at the scene, they discovered that a 32-year-old man had been shot multiple times. He was taken to Lorraine Mercy Hospital and died of an injury.
After a day’s investigation, police identified Elyria’s 33-year-old Tremine Wallace as a shooter. He was arrested west of Lorraine and charged with murdering the victim.
Wallace was later transferred to Lorain County Prison.
Donnis Atkins, 33, was also arrested Monday night and charged with obstructing justice. Police say she called 911 to report the shooting.
Additional charges for both Wallace and Atkins will be transferred to the Lorain County Prosecutor for consideration.
