Dayton, Ohio (WDTN) — University of Dayton Flyer Pep Band appeared on national television Friday morning.
The Dayton Flyers unleashed their Flyer spirit on Friday morning live ‘Today’. A band of encouragement stood along the barricades in the plaza inside Rockefeller Center.
NBC meteorologist Dylan Dreyer was outside the square with “Today” anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Cott. Dreyer interacted with the crowd outside Studio 1A on the square, eventually ending up on the other side of the barricade, where he introduced the group “by special request”.
The UD Flyer Pep Band continued to perform briefly for the crowd and audience at home. Guthrie and Cotto mingle in different parts of the crowd, dancing to the music for a short time before moving on to the next segment.
The band also performed live in the square back in 2019.
