Fort Wayne, Indiana (WOWO): Fort Wayne police arrested a man after a deadly shooting on Tuesday afternoon.
Police officers were called to the village of Hannah, 2100 blocks on Eden Street, after being reported to have been fired at around 2:30 pm. When the police arrived, the window of the apartment was shot and the damaged vehicle and the traces of blood moving away from the scene.
No casualties were found on the scene, but after a while the ammunition victims were taken to a local hospital and suffered life-threatening injuries. Upon entering the hospital, adult victims were immediately downgraded to life-threatening injuries.
The Allen County Coroners Office reported on Wednesday that Fort Wayne’s 19-year-old Gerry Allen Lacquer died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his method of death was murder.
Police arrested Derrick D. Dennis II on Wednesday morning without incident. He is guilty of a felony murder.
The shooting is still under investigation.
