LIMA — Lima News, along with other AIM Media newspapers and JobMatch Ohio, hosts a two-day virtual career fair.
The event will run from 9am to 5pm on Wednesday, September 22nd and Thursday, September 23rd. Registration is available online at www.JobMatchOhio.CareerFair.live and can be completed on the day of the job fair.
Natalie Buzzard, General Manager and Advertising Manager of Sydney Daily News, said: “The newspaper advertising staff contacted the local industry and helped find new employees.”
Event headline sponsors are Crown, Spherion and Whirlpool.

“On the day of the job fair, participants can see the jobs posted by each company,” Buzzard said. “They can request an interview with the employer who posted the job you are interested in.”
According to Buzzard, the interview will be completed via video chat or text.
Virtual events also give people who are currently employed and unable to attend direct events the opportunity to attend job fairs.
Other participating AIM media newspapers include Brookville Star, Daily Advocate, Miami Valley Today, Register Herald, Sydney Daily News, and Sentinel Tribune.
