Pet lovers soaked up the sun at Fidofest at the local dog park

WHEELING, W.Va. (WTRF) — Check this out!

It was the best playdate a man’s best friend could wish for.

Dog owners grabbed the leash and treated their dogs to have a good time wagging their tails.

Fidofest at Fitzsimmons Dog Park in Wheeling brings together dog lovers to enjoy some time with their pets.

They also got to see a big unveiling of a new art installation featuring artwork.

The artwork was created by a pet local resident.

Fun activities for the day include a pet photo shoot, a pet parade, a dog costume contest, and a dog kiss booth.

The event was organized by Wheeling Heritage Volunteer Wheeling and sponsored by Dirty Pause, a pet care service in Wheeling.
