White Sox-Tigers Series Finale Postponed Due to Rain

The Series Finale scheduled between the Tigers and the Chicago White Sox in Detroit on Wednesday afternoon was postponed due to bad weather.

The game will play on Monday at 1:10 pm EST. This is a holiday previously scheduled for both teams. The Tigers won the first two games in the series.

The postponement means that the White Sox (85-66) will have to wait at least one more day to win the American League Central. Their magic numbers are two, Cleveland Indians (74-76), who will play Kansas City Royals (69-83) on Wednesday.

The White Sox heads to Cleveland on Thursday to open a five-game series. The Tigers (74-78) will host the Royals in a three-game series starting on Thursday.
